Dang pop-up are back with a vengence. Every single image now. growing little windows every time one is closed.

Actually there is some testing going on regarding ads. Onboard and logged in, there should be no popups atm. Thats a policy we can't use on all other areas of skins - we need ads to run this site and noone pays for ads noone looks at (well, thats trivial...)
Most regular board users don't look/click on ads. Therefore, the "nonboard areas" have to do the job. Whatever pops there, should pop once a session max. We like to keep things as nice as possible, but this odd "as possible" means there are some limitations we can't afford to ignore.

btw., its quite easy to point to other sites and say "they're no better!" but i think we *do* have some advantages regarding that.

unfortunately the forum contains nude pictures = adult content. So we can't be picky when choosing advertisers.. We reverted back to sponsorads though and will try to keep things as clean as possible.

its the best of a bad bunch im afraid ,i used to think they had been a pain till they swapped adverts, sponsorads is far safer to use when viewing at work or elsewhere outside the home
