I decided to start this thread as the number of walls and other graphical stuff I post seems to be climbing very quickly and would be easier placed in a central position for easy access. All of my wallpapers will be provided in 1280x1024, 1600x1200 and 1920x1200 (unless otherwise stated). All other resolutions are attainable by resizing/scaling these walls to the resolution you require.

I think most of the art requests could be satisified if there was an easy to use crop- and resize-tool with the following specifications:

If you want an online solution, check out http://snipshot.com/, it has a brilliant AJAX interface that allows you to do most basic image editing in your web browser.

For a offline solution . . .

I'd recommend GIMP.

However, if you do require a different, rarer resolution, or would like a particular wallpaper made, just ask me by PM'ing me. I can also do Avatars or Signatures for people if requested.

Sorry about the lack of update on that one

So here it is:
Once I posted my intentions for a wallpaper script (in this thread), I got expressions of interest/notice of ongoing development from n0s, SvKRO and others.

I soon found out from SvKRO that he has made a functioning and fully featured (well as much as needed ) PHP wallpaper script. At the moment it uses a implementation of the GD2 image library, and can be obtained from SvKRO by PM.

There is also a version using the ImageMagick image library in the pipeline, and will soon be available for download and online use.

A big thank you must go out to SvKRO for creating this brilliant script! \\/
