In a straight line perhaps, but I don't think a modded Corsa could be faster around a racetrack than a F360 or a F430 (and if I remember correctly that video showed a drag race).
You can even make a
Vauxhall go from 0-100km/h (0-60mph) in just one second, but I doubt that thing is any good going round corners.
But then we arrive at the ultimate definition of 'better'. For some it's the top speed, for others it's the acceleration, or the laptime around a racetrack, or the overall package. Making a car 'faster' than a Ferrari probably isn't that difficult, but is it any 'better'? Depends on if 'faster'='better' in your opinion, but in the end even with a insanely tuned Corsa you just end up with a Corsa while when you own a Ferrari you end up with a Ferrari, now which one is better to own? A car everybody will think "well it's just another (tuned) Corsa, he/she must be someone who can't afford something better" or a car that makes everybody go "uhh he/she must be quite rich"?
