So i guess referring / make a link to former posts is unnecessary from now on?

y would it be unnecessary? The linking to THE post still works, it just doesn't get displayed individually.

I'm not sure what is worse, reading messages in reverse order, where you see replies before the original message, or scrolling to find where you left off.

I'm using the display newest first for a long time now, I think it's much better

Yes, I agree with several of the other posters. Not being able to open a post in a separate window renders bulk image downloaders useless unless you're willing to download the whole page (usually hundreds of photos). Linking to a particular post & it just opens the whole page makes the linking process almost useless. While I like the design of the forum these new problems are a step back.

The color scheme does not interest me. It is too light. It is unpleasant to the eyes. Hard to read. I hate it. Sorry

I can´t visit the forum daily, if the colors are so unpleasant.

Wonna the default vBulletin blue back.

¿isn't this bad for the forum's bandwidth?
cuz it will load all the thumbs of the entire page when you click on the links to former posts instead of the single post.

Angry what the hell have you guys done?

before the new changes in skinsbe forum, we were able open separate post in separate page,

    before: http://forum.skins.be/340865-post1.html
    now: http://forum.skins.be/51-internet-mo...el/#post340865

now when we tried to open a separate post it will open the whole page!!!
so if someone wants see a specific photo set in a post, he has to wait till download all the hundreds of pictures in that page, that is really sucks!!!

    so skinsbe please...please..please...bring it back!!!

SCOOTER makes a good point about bandwidth. In addition to the link problem if people that normally use a bulk image downloader, now have to download a whole page instead of one specific post this is going to eat up more bandwidth on the servers.

Sometimes, when I click the who's online link (to spy on people) the times are completely wrong. I checked them just a second ago (so roughly 15:00 BST) and the activities were all from 01:30ish for some reason. This has happened a few times.

Happened again, so I made a screenshot, and my clock is right

Email subscription links are working again. It now takes you to the newest message instead of the top of the page. Thanks to all involved with correcting that!

That said, it still loads the entire first page each time before making the jump. That's a waste of time and bandwidth. Why can't it make the calculation where the post is, before displaying the thread?

@Tarkus: yes ghostdog found a problem in our setup which caused this.. so #postnumber links should work as expected. single post views don't and never will (never say never?).

@BabyLamp: we had to cache that page as it was causing to high load. e.g. it should only get refreshed every 10min.

    @icu: what login problems?

It still loads the entire first page before jumping to the page with the linked message, however. Is there nothing that can be done about that?

on login page, where you put the user id and password.

i put my user id and password and click login, welcome screen is up, however after the login process done, the screen is back again to login screen and asking for user id and password again (like they didnt recognize my id and password). but when i click on community option, i am already in (recognize my id and password)

I guess this shouldn't be related, but since the forumupdate I can't upload pics anymore.

It does upload em, but where I'm suppose to get the codes to post on the forum I only get a white screen.
Which is why I've in the last hour uploaded the same gallery 4 times. Tried different things, always the same result.

EDIT: Just noticed I can't open separate posts in their own windows.

Same exact issue here, deleted all cookies and cache and still encountering the same "bug" or glitch or whatever it is. Logs in fine, but goes back to log in page and never shows that you're logged in. At first I was pushed into thinking I am not being logged in, eventhough I was being greeted with the "Thank you for logging in" message which had me change my password. Then I came to the forums and noticed that I am in fact logged in.

Please fix this as it misleads the user and drives them hazelnuts!

Other than that, I like the new version and fresh design and functionality of the forum.

    UPDATE: Problem solved.

    Thanks!
