Has anyone heard from the person who owns Skins.be/Operates it? The image host has been broken for a year or longer. I thought we were going to see a redesign http://forum.skins.be/thread23269.html . It's sad to see what used to be such an active site not having up keep.
Didn't realise you were an Admin and had access to the logs to know who banned who. The last contributor who left Skins was Sachse and the reason he/she left was because of... you!
How many times have you been banned and how many chances have you had now? Yet you are still a little turd, a little smart-ass who doesn't learn. When you decide to be critical of someone or something, get your facts right first otherwise you just irk people. Keeping pushing and eventually you'll get KO'ed one way or another by someone.
You are clearly delusional if you believe this is somehow my fault. Skins would have been where it is now long ago without my contributions (pictures, wallpapers, BT - shall I go on?). You may have had more posts, but you're not even close grasshopper.
@Frinky: Don't hold your breath, mate. The powers that be of Skins come out of hibernation every 6+ months or so, post stuff similar to the thread you linked to saying they'll do this, do that, fix this, fix that, change this, change that... then disappear, never to be seen again until another 6+ months or so and the cycle starts again. So, unlike what the dumb-ass above me pointed out, Skins is in the state it is today solely because these guys ain't doing jack. I've stopped contributing, the Editors have stopped doing wallpapers etc. because until they pull the finger out of their bum and do something, we won't be doing anything either. If they spent just a fraction of the time and put in just a fraction of the effort that some users on here put in, Skins would still be going strong.
wtf?! no matter what i do i get redirected to main page of forum. It was hard to even post this
De gustibus non est disputandum... But big tits rule!
"Why do they call it 'soft porn'? 'Cause it never gets you hard."
apparently is a little fight going on in the forum, I guess we just have to wait and see what happen, lets just hope for everything solve quickly and the forum can finally come back to his well deserved glory, and become the good old forum that we all love and miss.
Proud member since 2005 and still not ready to give up this place.
On the redirect.....
I was able to stop it on Firefox by entering bodisparking.com into the blacklist on the extension BlockSite. Hope that helps a few of you guys. I don't have the redirect at all on Chrome.
I looked up skins.be on http://www.dns.be/ and it is registered to a P.O. box in the British Virgin Islands. That same P.O. box appears to be the mailing address for a fancy-schmancy vacation villa:
What's up with that? Is the owner/operator living in the lap of luxury on a tropical island?
Current project: creative crisis!

Every forum page includes an embedded flash object http://cmcmdo.com/content/86/flash2.swf in the footer. That domain has now expired, and the parking server has a rule that catches all swf requests. Presumably they intended to direct traffic to their own advertising, but in this case it ends up redirecting to the forum front page.
Today obsessed with: Kate Beckinsale
thanks for the fix with the redirect guys.
it will be a shame if this is the end of the site. if another site spins off from this im keen to help out with anything i can.

Sadly it feels like this site is dieing, by I guess it has been that way for quite a while.
I hope things will go the right way and things get fixed, but if it doesn't then I'm sure that another site will pop up to take over.
Owner(s) of Skins have never contributed a single picture post or wallpaper, meaning that unlike the rest of us, they have no interest in what Skins is about. Their interest is purely business/economical. This is the only logical explanation, otherwise you have someone wasting their $ on something they have no interest in... Hmmm, no.
Whilst the site is up, the revenue is coming in, they couldn't give a rats.
So, if you care about the site, abandon it and let it die. This is the only way you can save it. Site dies, no $, only chance they will fix it.
